Members of the Soundcraft team took part in a challenge of the cerebral kind for our nominated charity, Ordinary to Extraordinary (O2e) – pitting their wits against 120 other quizzers to raise much-needed funds for children living with disabilities and serious illness.
The event was hosted by Soundcraft Chairman, Kevin Smith, and his wife Sue, a dedicated O2e Ambassador: “The evening was a resounding success and we raised a pretty impressive £2,500,” said Sue. “This is thanks to the incredible generosity and wonderful support of all involved. We are a 100% non-profit making organisation, so every penny will reach the children who are supported by this year’s eight chosen charities.”
Kevin took to the stage and welcomed a capacity audience, reminding all that O2e aims to encourage ordinary people to take on challenges that may take them out of their comfort zones or simply push them a little bit further than they’d normally go – that could be cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, running a few km round the park, or in this case, challenging the brain cells for a very worthy cause.
