Aluminium Communal Security Doors Achieve Secured by Design status

Soundcraft’s new range of Aluminium Communal Security Doors and Screens has achieved Secured by Design (SBD) status.

The Aluminium Integrity Door range includes two options:

The first is the AFT door. This is the anti-finger trap option, based on pivots with a concealed closer.

The second is the CH door, which is based on a stainless steel continuous hinge in applications where a more robust environment is anticipated.

The AFT and CH options use electro-magnetic locking systems; both door types have two magnets each in excess of 1600 lbs holding force.

Doors and side screens can be fully or partially glazed, and overpanels are also included.

Sidescreens can house call panels and fireman’s switches, plus letter boxes.

Secured by Design Curtain Walling is also available as part of the aluminium Integrity Door range.
