Daryl Herridge, Soundcraft’s portcullis door assembly manager, recently competed in the ETU European Duathlon championships, held in Madrid.
Representing GBR in the 50 – 54 year old Super Vet age group Daryl came twenty first in a field of almost fifty. The duathlon involves a run of 5K, followed by a 20K bike ride, completed with a further 2.5K run. His time of 70 minutes was particularly commendable as he was carrying a slight foot injury that clearly didn’t help.
Daryl has now qualified for next year’s championships which are to be held in Kalkar, Germany.
