Soundcraft has made a significant investment in new machinery & training for the fabrication of their aluminium doors, windows and curtain walling. Their new Emmegi M4 Phantomatic Aluminium CNC was installed at the end of February.
This CNC machine centre has a 4 AXIS drilling head with 8 automatically loaded tools. The main varied angled head enables Soundcraft to machine on 3 faces on any angle. The profiles are held in place with fully automatic positioning clamps. It is run by CAMplus, JOB & Drill software which is fully integrated with our Logikal system software using a bar code scanner.
Ultimately, the new machinery allows Soundcraft to design their own aluminium profile, thereby speeding up the manufacturing process.
It is a notable investment that will allow Soundcraft to produce SBD Doors compliant with Part M building regulations in a more efficient way.
