Following the recent installation of a second high-spec CNC Machining Centre, Soundcraft’s investment in equipment continues with the purchase of a new generation Graule Notching Saw from associates at Emmegi.

This latest addition to the company’s factory in Kent will not only enable the Soundcraft team to operate at a separate station for profile notching, which significantly improves accuracy and fabrication time, but also ensures that orders move more effectively through the factory.

“The Notching Saw was the next integral piece of equipment we decided to invest in,” said Soundcraft’s Production Director Lee Gordon. “Having looked at our workflow through the factory, it was logical to free up time on the existing machinery by having a dedicated notching station. Once again, we worked with Emmegi to make sure we got the right machine and specification to suit us. We opted for the AS-P 650 and upgraded it to include a 4-axis NC Control with digital display. This removes some of the manual input normally required and helps enable our production of orders in an accurate and timely manner.”

Lee concluded: “With an increasing order book and strong pipeline, Soundcraft will continue to invest in the right people and equipment to ensure that we remain at the forefront of our industry – as the fabricator of choice for clients who rely on our swift and precise manufacturing process.”
