Soundcraft’s expert manufacturing and installation teams have completed exclusive work at London’s Belvedere Court, a striking Art Deco property located in Putney, SW15.
Appointed by Godmon Partnership Ltd for the Belvedere Court Residents’ Association, Soundcraft has undertaken the intricate removal of existing apartment entrance doors and the installation of PAS 24 Secured by Design 30-minute fire doors, made to bespoke specification.
In keeping with the building’s architectural features, Soundcraft secured Walnut veneer performance fire doors with contemporary Art Deco style door furniture, sourced to meet design concepts and comply with all security and fire rating standards required.
The bespoke internal doors for Belvedere Court were manufactured at the company’s factory and installed onsite by Soundcraft’s BM Trada Q-Mark trained operatives, to certify that the product’s fire resistance capabilities are maintained and service life is maximised through correct installation.
Soundcraft also worked closely with specialists on the meticulous removal of a communal area wall finish, which contained asbestos, ensuring works were carried out and certified prior to the new door installations for this unique Art Deco project.
Key communications with the project management company were driven by Soundcraft’s Managing Director Rob Thomson: “Precision planning and resident liaison were of paramount importance to ensure smooth operations with minimum disruption to the occupiers at Belvedere Court. This is one of a number of Art Deco properties we have in our portfolio, highlighting Soundcraft’s expertise to undertake work that is sensitively approached with specialist capabilities for these notable buildings”.
