The upgrade at Laxton Court sheltered housing scheme, purpose-built for independent living in a secure environment, required Soundcraft’s robust portcullis door design.
Continuing to provide solutions in demanding social housing environments, Soundcraft replaced the old and damaged fire exit doors enabling essential car park and stairwell access at the London Borough of Croydon retirement complex.
The new steel portcullis doors and frames were manufactured and installed by Soundcraft’s expert teams, with stairwell doors operating on maglocks and the car park exit operating via a panic bar, in order to provide fire door safety at the Thornton Heath development of self-contained flats managed by Croydon Council.
